Hey there, I’m Kacie. Welcome to my experimental little corner of the world wild web. This blog is a bit of a reflection of my life, a juxtaposition of the modern with the rustic.

I work in the tech industry, writing about and marketing the software that powers the internet. But outside the glow of a screen, I crave untethered life: trees, books, stargazing, deep thought.

So here, I write about the in-between.

My blog has evolved a bit over the years, as it first started as a place to document the nomadic adventures my husband and I had in our vintage camper. These days, we split our time between our home in the Midwest where we’re raising our family, and a wild piece of land in Colorado where we unplug as often as we can.

Now, this space is something more layered and creative. You’ll find a mix of personal essays, weird sci-fi analysis, and fun reflections on digital pop culture.

And yes, all the Life Rustic stuff is still here too. 🙂
